Brief itinerary

Day 1: In Stockholm
Self-guided walking tour of Söders Heights (southern island in Stockholm) passing churches, historic housing and viewpoints
Sightseeing in Stockholm including Vasa Ship, Skansen open-air museum, Gamla Stan 
Opt: walking in Stockholm Ecopark/Djurgården

Accommodation: Stockholm, hotel

Day 2: Stockholm → Vaxholm
Archipelago boat from Stockholm to Vaxholm
Self-guided walking tour of Vaxön island along winding village streets and coastal paths
Visit to Vaxholm Fortress & Bogesund naturreserve 

Accommodation: Vaxholm, hotel
Meals: Breakfast
Hiking distance: 10 km (flexible)

Day 3: Vaxholm → Gällnö → Sandhamn

Hiking on Gällnö island passing Gällnö village and beach. Row boat to Karklö island, and return Gällnö

Day 4: Sandhamn → Dalarö
Hiking around Sandhamn island passing Fläskberget viewpoint, Trouville sandy beaches, Sandhamn village and harbour
Afternoon boat from Sandhamn to Dalarö

Meals: Breakfast
Hiking Distance: 8 km (flexible)

Day 5: Dalarö → Huvudskär/Fjärdlång → Dalarö
Visit Dalarö village, self-guided walking tour of village visiting Lotsberget viewpoint

Opt: return via Fjärdlång island and hike to island's highest point, Tysta Klint

Day 6: Dalarö → Gålö → Dalarö → Ornö
Taxi transfer from Dalarö to Gålö
Hiking on Skälåker, Gålö passing coastal scenery, Havtornsudd and Gålö beach
Taxi transfer back to Dalarö, visit Dalarö village, self-guided walking tour of village visiting Lotsberget viewpoint
Archipelago boat from Dalarö to Ornö island

Hiking Distance: 4.5-11 km (flexible) 

Day 7: Ornö → Utö
Hike Måne Äng loop around Lake Maren on Ornö
epodtaxi to Telegrafberget to hike to island's highest point for impressive island views
Boat from Ornö Kyrka to Utö, Gruvbryggan

Day 8: Utö → Fjärdlång → Stockholm
Visit mine and museum in Gruvbyn village
Hike on Utö around loop in nature reserve
Opt: sea kayaking on Utö
Boat from Utö to Stockholm (can island hop on Fjärdlång if not visited on day 5)
