Multi-activity trips allow you to fill your short break with as much variety and adventure as possible. All our trips include a variety of physical activity combining cycling, hiking, kayaking or canoeing, as we believe this allows you to experience the nature at its very best.
You do not have to be an expert in any of the activities on offer; Cycling is either on quiet country lanes or off road on good quality paths with few hills. And the lakes are narrow without strong currents which offer the perfect conditions for kayaking or canoeing beginners. The terrain is undulating with few steep and challenging hills. However, please note a certain degree of fitness is required to complete these trails.
The trips are also put together in such a way that many interesting sights can be visited en route, including magnificent castles and palaces, charming Swedish villages and historical Viking sites. Our collection of multi-activity trips take place in the county of Sörmland. A region noted for its beautiful nature with its countless lakes, endless forests and mile wide views stretching across open landscape and open sea. The county lies just to the south of Stockholm and is perfectly suited for those of you looking to escape the buzz of the city and experience the peace and tranquility of Sweden’s much admired countryside. We also offer a trail which takes you out into Stockholm’s beautiful and unique archipelago to let you explore a handful of the 24,000 islands lying on Stockholm’s doorstep.

One of the greatest advantages of cycling is the fact that you move at the ideal pace to both appreciate the countryside up close and to cover considerable distances in a day, simply allowing you to see so much.
You do not have to be an expert on the bike either. The cycling takes place either on quiet country lanes or off road on good quality paths. We provide you with mountain bikes with hybrid tyres because the terrain is mixed allowing you to pick up some speed on the tarmac as well as be able to competently handle the mud and stones of the rougher off road. The terrain is undulating with few steep and challenging hills. Please note though a certain degree of fitness is required to complete these trails.

Our paddling trails take advantage of the endless amounts of water Sweden has to offer. Island archipelagos and countless lakes make Stockholm and its surroundings a haven for those longing to take to the water.
Our trails take place in both Stockholm’s remarkable archipelago; a seemingly endless archipelago of 24,000 glorious islands lying right on Stockholm’s doorstep. Stretching some 80km east of Stockholm deep into the Baltic waters, it formed during the last Ice Age and is today considered to be one of the world’s natural wonders. Alternatively, visit the county of Sörmland where we take you to the locally treasured Båven lake system to appreciate its natural wilderness environment. Enjoy the silence and tranquility of a hidden lake, a silence broken only by the gentle splash as your oar meets the calm, clean waters.
Our paddling trail on Lake Båven is designed for both beginners and those with experience. The lake is 68km², much of which is sheltered. Days can be spent exploring the many arms and islands by canoe. The archipelago trail makes use of sea kayaks, designed for these waters and allow you the chance to admire the archipelago from its best vantage point – the sea.

The Sörmlandsleden or Sörmland Trail is more than 1000km long and is the longest hiking trail in all of Sweden. It winds its way through the length and breadth of Sörmland taking in the absolute best of its enviable nature; wilderness, sparkling lakes, forests, hill top views as well as historical monuments. The paths are well maintained and you are lead by the well known Sörmlandsleden posts and orange marking – a very familiar sight to those having hiked considerable stretches.
All our hikes follow the Sörmlandsleden and we have selected the best bits that are conveniently located to allow less driving and more hiking. The hikes are varied, passing lakes, forest, open countryside and coastal regions.
The hiking is not considered challenging although it is an undulating landscape with many shorter hills to climb and some stretches may be marshy if there have been recent rains but is within most people’s ability. Some of the ground underfoot may be rocky and some scrambling may be required.
Sörmland county lies just to the south of Stockholm and is perfectly suited for those of you looking to escape the buzz of the city and experience the peace and tranquility of Sweden’s much admired countryside.

Our sailing trails take full advantage of Stockholm’s remarkable archipelago; a seemingly endless archipelago of 24,000 glorious islands lying right on Stockholm’s doorstep. Stretching some 80km east of Stockholm deep into the Baltic waters, it formed during the last Ice Age and is today considered to be one of the world’s natural wonders.
Our trails are of varied length and all give you the chance to experience some of the island’s that make up this unique archipelago. The island’s are all of different sizes, some offering cosy restaurants with local food, charming marine shops and sandy beaches. But one thing in common to all the islands are the breathtaking views.
Many of the islands offer other activities aside from sailing, for example sea kayaking and cycling are often available on the larger islands whilst hiking is possible almost whenever you pull ashore.
The trails are available with or without skipper depending on your own abilities. If you opt to sail without skipper then all sea maps are provided. Since you are sailing through the archipelago, the conditions are most often sheltered from high winds and rough waters, although if you venture into the waters of the outer archipelago the islands become more scarce and conditions can be more demanding.

The terrain surrounding Stockholm could not be more suited to mountain biking; boulders, roots, mud and marsh are all that are needed to test your skills and your mountain bike’s strength.
Not only are the conditions ideal for mountain biking, but the scenery is also not to be ignored. Small paths winding through dense forests, hidden lakes glittering in the sunshine, green fields and mile wide views stretching across the open landscape are all to be enjoyed whilst tackling the next challenging track.
Mountain biking allows you to go off the beaten track thereby increasing your chances of experiencing the Swedish wildlife. Deer roam freely and birds of prey fly overhead. You may even be one of the lucky few to spot a moose hiding in the bushes!
The trails take place just to the south of Stockholm in an area neighbouring the very beautiful Tyresta National Park.
We also offer a very exciting option where you can take part in the annual Lida Loop mountain biking race. This race is an event in the Swedish Långloppscupen – mountain bike marathon cup and is a 65 km MTB-Marathon. Note though it can be divided up into shorter sections depending on your abilities. For more details on the race, refer to the trip dossier.
